Toyota Motor Corporation has launched the Toyota Corolla Cross SUV for the South East Asian market.
The Toyota Corolla Cross is based on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA). It is 4460 mm in length, 1825 mm in width and 1620 mm in height.
The design of the Toyota Corolla Cross tends to be the evolution of the RAV4. It has a traditional Toyota grille on the front, flared fenders and squared off-wheel arches with black plastic cladding and L-shaped tail lights. The car seen in these photos has a maroon upholstery and blue ambient lighting. It has a floating touch-screen infotainment system.
The Toyota Corolla Cross will be available on the international market with two engine options. These include a 1.8-litre petrol unit producing 138 BHP and 175 Nm, and a 1.8-litre petrol hybrid generating 168 BHP and 305 Nm. Both engines come with continuously variable transmissions (CVTs).
