Hero Motocorp have recently unveiled the updated version of the Maestro Edge 110, which will be launched here soon. The Maestro Edge 110 has recently been upgraded to the BS-VI emission norms and is slated to go on floors by the end of this month. The arrival of the scooter was announced recently on the official website of Hero Motocorp.
Design-wise, the scooter will not feature any major changes. It will be retaining the same look as the pre-updated model and the Maestro Edge 125. The Maestro Edge 110 will be available in six colour options, namely Panther Black, Techno Blue, Seal Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Fadeless White and Midnight Blue.
It will feature an updated version of the same 110.9cc motor seen on many other products from the company. This engine produces 8.16 BHP of power along with 8.75 Nm of torque. However, the recent upgrade has ensured a rise in the overall torque figures by 0.05 Nm as compared to the pre-updated motor.
There will not be any new additions in terms of features for the Maestro Edge 110. Mechanically, the scooter will feature a telescopic front suspension and a preload adjustment monoshock one at the rear. Prices for the Maestro Edge 110 update are yet to be revealed, but we can expect the scooter to command a small premium compared to the outgoing model.
Hence, the updated Maestro Edge 110 could retail at a price of around Rs.56,000 (ex-showroom, India). It will rival the Hero Pleasure, TVS Jupiter and the Honda Dio in the entry-level scooter segment. Hero Motocorp will hope that the update does justice to the already strong sales of the Maestro Edge 110.
