An SUV’s body shell was spotted during transportation by a Team BHPian named Mad Monkey. The packaging had Mahindra labelling on it, indicating that it might be the body shell of 2020 XUV500 model.
Earlier spy images have indicated that the new XUV500 could get an all-new redesigned exterior with flush-fitting door handles. Furthermore, the 2020 XUV500 gets a revised front grille with a more upright front fascia in addition to the retractable door handles.
Under the bonnet, the next-gen XUV500 is expected to get a BS-VI compliant 2.2-liter diesel engine producing 177 BHP, while a transmission options might include 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
