Mahindra is nearing the launch of its much-anticipated all new XUV500 series this-year. The Indian carmaker will launch the second generation of the SUV and, along with new interiors and features, it comes with all-new design changes inside-out.
Recently latest XUV500’s dashboard style with a flat bottom steering wheel and a new layout had also been pictured. It has been shown this time around all three rows of seating, which also gives us an idea of the space available.
With different cushioning, the front seats receive art leather upholstery. Looks wide and supportive for thighs and back. Also, the rear seats are finished in art leather and all three passengers have adjustable head rest.
The seats are finished in beige, and the cushioning is revised. The legroom seems to be large enough to suit tall adults. With decent space and individual headrests for 2 passengers, the third row seating was also revealed.
In addition to a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, Mahindra will introduce a new 2.0-liter diesel engine. Both these engines will comply with BS6 and will be available with both 6-speed manual gearbox and automatic transmission.
The Mahindra XUV500 new generation is expected to make its debut by the end of 2020. It will compete directly with the new Tata Gravitas in February 2020, which will reach the markets.
