Online images have surfaced revealing the all-new Genesis GV80 SUV.
The GV80 is fitted with a large G-Matrix grill with slim head lights. It also gets a sculpted hat, wraparound tail lamps, roof rails, and a chrome trim running down the windows.
The SUV is fitted with a dual-tone interior with quilted leather, a 2-speed steering wheel, a touchscreen head panel, a digital instrument cluster, adjustable seats and a rotating dial for transmission controls. With an analog instrument cluster, some models could have a single-tone interior.
A turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a naturally aspirated V6 engine and a 3.3-liter turbocharged V6 engine could power the Genesis GV80. A hybrid plug-in may also be available at a later stage. It could be offered both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants.
The SUV is expected to launch in 2020 and could compete with the Audi Q7, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and the Volvo XC90.
