Ford is currently working on a facelift for the Endeavour (sold as the Everest in International markets). It is expected to be launched at the end of 2018. Ford will give the full-size SUV some updated equipment and a revised front end.
Our Photoshop wizard Mohammed Afraz has given us his vision of what an upcoming Ford Endeavour 2019 model would look like. It will feature a new grille and design and will also be sporting 20-inch alloy wheels. We can also expect Ford to tinker with the stance of the SUV, thereby affecting its ground clearance.
The Endeavour facelift will be carrying a handful of new features. This includes keyless entry, an engine start-stop button and so on. Engine-wise, we can expect Ford to pull a surprise by bringing in a more powerful engine in the facelift.
The Ford Endeavour is available in two diesel options here at present. One is a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder motor giving 160 BHP of power and 385 Nm of torque. The other is a 3.2-litre, five-cylinder engine that produces 200 BHP of power and 470 Nm of torque.
Both these variants are available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. With the Endeavour facelift, Ford will take on the Toyota Fortune and the Isuzu MU-X for the title of the best full-size SUV in our country. We can expect the facelifted model to be in good demand, given the popularity of the Endeavour here.
