Having faced tough competition from Hyundai’s entry-level SUV, the Creta! Mahindra has re-introduced the special-edition Scorpio Adventure based on the top S10 trim. Compared to the regular S10, the Adventure Edition is priced at a premium of Rs. 40,000.
The limited-edition Scorpio’s exterior will get dual-tone paint scheme, alloy wheels in gunmetal grey, red brake callipers, ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators and smoked tail lamps. On the inside, it will be available with faux leather seats with blue fabric inserts and faux leather-wrapped steering wheel gear lever and armrests, rear view camera and Adventure badge on the dashboard.
Additional equipment includes a rear view camera and triple jet windshield washer. Further it carries over the all features from top-end Scorpio S10 grade, which comes equipped with a 6-inch touchscreen AVN display with navigation, automatic climatic control, multifunction steering wheel, dual airbags and ABS.
There are no changes mechanically. The Scorpio Adventure comes powered by the same 2.2-litre mHawk engine delivering 120 bhp and 280 Nm torque featuring an Intelli-Hybrid technology. It can be opted either with a 2-Wheel-Drive and 4-Wheel-Drive configurations. However, the Adventure edition will be available only with the 5-speed manual transmission.
