Hero MotoCorp has updated its Passion Pro i3S with a BSIV compliant engine and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) feature.
2017 Hero Passion Pro i3S gets Auto Headlamp On (AHO) and BSIV compliance engine.
Mechanical changes include the new i3S technology or auto start/stop function that helps in providing extra mileage than the standard version of the bike, when switched on and can be manually turned off if, when required. Design-wise it gets a new i3S badge on the rear side cowl, the overall design of the 2017 Hero Passion Pro iSmart remains unchanged.
The 2017 Passion Pro i3S is powered by a 97.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is now BSIV compliant. It develops max power of 8.24 HP of power at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The i3S system automatically switches off the bike’s engine when it’s on idle and switches it on upon pressing the clutch.
2017 Passion Pro i3S competes against the Honda Dream Yuga and TVS Victor.
It is available in three variants, the entry-level drum variant with spoked wheel, the mid-level gets a drum brake with alloy wheel and the top-spec comes equipped with disc brake with alloy wheel.
