KTM motorcycles in India will come with standard daytime running lights (DRLs) across its range – Duke 200, RC 200, Duke 390 and RC 390, which is a mandatory safety feature in most international markets.
Although the Indian government has made the always-on headlamps mandatory on all two-wheelers from 2017, KTM has already prepared its lineup for it. No official announcement has been made so far, however, the spy picture here confirm the omission of the headlight on/off switch below the engine kill switch, just above the engine start button.
Apart from this removal, there isn’t any cosmetic changes seen also no LED strip has been added to the headlight. Just like the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Yamaha R3, the parking light with low beam switched-on will remain as default full-time. Expect a slight price hike for the 2016 model KTM range of motorcycles.
