SPYSHOTS: New 2016 KTM RC 390 spotted ahead of Indian launch

These spy photographs of the new 2016 KTM RC 390 spotted in India for the first time. We’ve seen an updated version of the RC 390 motorcycle at EICMA Show last-month.

The 2016 model RC 390 features thicker seat cushion, bigger rear-view mirrors, a larger front brake disc supplied by Brembo measuring 320 mm and traditional side-mounted full size aluminium exhaust, which helps it comply with Euro 4 emission norms. Other notable changes include adjustable front brake, slipper clutch, switchable ABS and ride by wire technology, which replaces the existing cable mechanism.

Powering the updated RC 390 is the same 373.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled unit as the outgoing model. It makes 43 BHP and 35 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of taking the RC 390 from 0-100 in under 5 seconds, which is really quick!

The new 2016 KTM RC 390 is expected to be launched in India sometime in 2016.
