Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, launched the all-new Audi A4 in India. With more technical finesse, comfort and sophisticated engine unit, the all-new Audi A4 packs in brilliant performance and redefines efficiency, drivability and high class infotainment in an outstanding form.
The all-new Audi A4 is priced starting from Rs. 38.10 lakh. It is available in just two variants: Premium Plus and Technology. The top-end Technology variant costs Rs. 41.20 lakh (prices ex-showroom Delhi). The new, fifth-generation A4 is currently offered with only a petrol engine, while a diesel variant will likely be introduced in the near future.
Lighter by 95 kilograms than its predecessor, the all-new Audi A4 30 TFSI sets benchmark in its segment. Built on a Volkswagen Group’s MLB 2 platform measures 4,726 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width and 1,427 mm in height, and the wheelbase is scaled at 2,820 mm. This makes it 25 mm longer and 16 mm wider than the model it replaces. The wheelbase too has been given an increment of 12 mm.
Top-of-the-line features Audi’s Virtual cockpit, Audi MMI system with 7-inch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a wireless charging pad for Qi-enabled smartphones, a key memory function, and 3-zone climate control. A 755 watt Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system with 19-speakers takes care of the entertainment needs.
The sole engine option is a 1.4-litre TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder engine – the front-wheel drive version gets the fuel-efficient ultra tune, pushing out 148 hp and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox as standard, although there’s no option of Audi’s Quattro AWD system. Audi claims that the A4 30 TFSI delivers an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 17.84 KMPL.
