Recently, Mercedes-AMG revealed the much anticipated 2014 SLS AMG Black Series, this vehicle here is inspired by the SLS AMG GT3 race car. This is the fifth model in the Black Series and will debut at the 2012 Los Angles Motor Show.
Engineered from lightweight construction, the model is in line with the AMG Lightweight Performance strategy and weighs in at 1550 kilograms helping it achieve a power/weight ratio of 2.45 kg/bhp.
Power comes from a 6.3-litre AMG V8 making 622-hp at 7,400 rpm with a maximum torque of 632 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 7-speed sports transmission the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series goes from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 315 kmph.

Mercedes-Benz out that the SLS AMG Electric Drive with a maximum output of 740 hp has more power, which is pretty interesting.
