The 2014 Auto Expo held in Delhi last month saw many new launches and reveals. While some were entirely new concepts and totally new vehicles, some manufacturers chose to display modified version of their cars in their existing line-up as eye candy. Some of them were really good, like these two cars displayed by Chevrolet.
Chevrolet Cruze Stealth Edition:
Chevrolet Cruze StealthThe Cruze Stealth Edition is a tastefully modified Chevrolet Cruze, with the latest gen Cruze which was launched late last year as the base. It is basically a switchblade silver Chevrolet Cruze with the hood, roof and trunk door wrapped in carbon-fibre. It sits on some hot 17-inch, dual-tone silver rims, and the other differences one can find on the outside of the car are the HID projector lamps and LED daytime running lamps up front and the Full LED tail-lamps at the back. From the interior point of view, the Cruze Stealth edition is decked up with all black leather seats and contrast matching stitches. It also gets a new infotainment system, with in-built navigation.
The mechanical bits remain unchanged though and the Cruze is still powered by the same 2.0L VCDi engine with a max output of 166.4 BHP.
Chevrolet Sail Custom:
Chevrolet Sail CustomThe Sail custom is the same basic Chevrolet Sail with all the mechanical bits remaining the same. The only difference is the paint job on the car. The sail gets a beautiful Dual-Tone Golden and black finish both on the exterior and the interior. On the outside, the radiator grille is outlined in Gold, the fog lamps casing too is finished in gold, the whole side profile of the car gets a thin golden pinstripe at the bottom of the windows and all the wheels are painted in Gold, Few traces of gold are also found on the Air-Conditioning vents and the door handles as well.
