Just last week, we brought you the first ever spy pictures of Tata Nano diesel caught red-handed at the diesel station.  From the spy pictures, it is evident that the new Nano diesel has got all new front and rear bumpers, the exhaust layout is changed and the rear hatch is now openable. Looking at the heavily camouflage small car, it appeared that it will sport several amends in its existing exteriors.

Now our friends at IndianCarsBikes, have rendered the rear image of new Tata Nano diesel what they believe, will look like! Coming to the open-able hatch, this is a long standing demand that Nano owners have been having and Tata Motors, it seems, has been working on user feedback very seriously. Tata seems to satisfy its customers now by making the hatch open-able and that also makes Nano a real car. Tata diesel engine has found its place at the rear end in lieu of that the rear bumper design will be changed. This rear end design change will also take better care of heat dissipation, and give a better cooling.

In the engine department, a 700cc diesel motor is expected with 2-cylinders that is basically the mini or semi avatar of 1405cc, four-cylinder engine. This mini DiCOR diesel motor will first be put to test in Tata Ace DiCOR, soon after that it will be acquired by Tata Nano diesel. With Common Rail Direct Injection system Nano diesel will be extremely frugal and will give a mileage of 40kmpl. Tata Nano is the lightest car in India and the diesel engine amplifies its lightweight advantage and the already high fuel efficiency goes a notch higher to make Tata Nano the most frugal car in the world.
