2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman to be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show

British car manufacturer, Mini has released the images and specs of the 2013 Mini Countryman John Cooper Works before the official debut later this month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The 2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman is fitted with the most powerful powertrain in the Mini range, equipped with ALL4 all-wheel-drive- and has been upgraded with a sportier suspicion and better handling.

Obviously based on the regular Countryman the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman gets an aerodynamic kit which lends extra muscle to the front and rear apron, as well as bespoke side skirts, 18-inch light-alloy wheels and the upgraded disc brakes. Inside the cabin, the car gets sports seats in Diagonal Track John Cooper Works Carbon Black cloth trim with red contrast stitching have been designed specially for the MINI Countryman John Cooper Works, while similarly exclusive options such as the sports seats with Lounge Leather trim in Carbon Black Championship Red can also be ordered

Power for the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman comes from a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder turbo making 218-hp with a maximum torque of 207 lb-ft or 221 lb-ft with over boost. Mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic with Steptronic, 0 to 100 kph comes in just 7.0 seconds and claims the top speed of 225 kmph for the manual and 223 kmph for its automatic sibling.

2013 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman - RearView

Production of the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman will take place alongside the regular model at BMW Group’s partner firm Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik in Graz, Austria.
