The Japanese auto giant, Honda motors recently revealed the first look at the new 2013 Honda Civic prior to its debut at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2013 Honda Civic which goes on-sale at Honda dealerships in the US on November 29, 2012 will comprise a host of safety, feature, comfort, chassis and interior styling enhancements that will further define the top-selling Civic as the best car in the compact class.
The 2013 Honda Civic definitely looks a lot better than the current model out on the market with a more upscale and premium styling. Changes include new headlamps, a new open-mouth lower bumper with a horizontal chrome accent and a sportier, black honeycomb mesh grille, new fog lights on upper trims and new tail lights. However, the company is currently tight-lipped about whether there will be any mechanical changes.
“The 2013 Honda Civic exterior refinements infuse Civic with a more youthful, premium style. Coupling these with additional changes beneath will ensure that Civic maintains its top-ranked status,” said Vicki Poponi, assistant vice president of product planning for American Honda.
For us (Indians) the question remains to see, if there is any chance of the 2013 Civic coming to India? As of now, the Honda has not officially revealed or hinted at the Civic’s future in India and there seems to be no reason to think they might bring it to the country anytime soon.
