In Thailand, the new sedan is launched in a total of 4 variants, all of which will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine generating 90 hp, while returning a fuel efficiency of 20 kmpl.
The company says, Brio Amaze is an all-new equation. It has been designed by keeping in mind each personal style and everything you want from car driving. The Brio Amaze offers a large cabin on the inside with perfect equipment and facilities, sports design metrics, 2-DIN audio with AUX channels for peripherals, USB, measure and display the rate of fuel consumption. It has a turning radius of 4.6 m and with its smooth driving, its very easy to park and reverse. Honda Brio Amaze, just like its hatchback cousin, Brio, offers ECO indicator for you, so that you can get the best mileage. With the automatic transmission, strain from daily commuting has been thrown out.
Dimensions of Honda Brio Amaze stand at 3,990 mm long, 1,680 mm wide, 1,485 mm tall and a wheelbase of 2,405 mm. Weight of the Brio Amaze is at 925 kgs (S AT), boot space is 1,480 liters. Tyre configuration for all fours is as 175/65 R14. Fuel tank capacity is 35 liters.
Front look features of the new Brio Amaze include body colored front bumper, alloys with new design, sleek look, chrome taillight, and active edge from the front to rear. The rear design of the Amaze looks inspired from the new Honda City, having the wraparound tail-lamps and some more cues, but we won’t comment that it’s better than the City, however beats most its competitors in the finishing.
However in Thailand, Honda will not launch the diesel variant of Brio Amaze. But in India, the Honda Brio Amaze will be the first Honda product in India to get a diesel engine. It will be powered by 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine which is derivative of Honda 1.6-litre Earth dream engine. Here cubic capacity will be brought down to 1.5-litre to benefit from tax regulations prevalent in India. We expect the new Brio Amaze sedan to hit our shores by April-2013.
