Koenigsegg displayed a model of Agera S Hundra which is going to be launched in the the year 2014. This is the Swedish firm Koenigsegg’s hundredth chassis built since the company set-up shop in 2002. Agera S is powered with an engine which has a maximum torque of 112.1kgm at 1016 bhp. The 5.0-litre V8 engine’s pistons are ceramic-coated, and have uniquely shaped piston domes that encourage effective flame propagation, combat irregular combustion and allow the engine to run 1.4 bar of supercharger boost pressure and a compression ratio of 9.0:1 – factors that make for the exceptionally high specific output.
The Agera S Hundra as been built at a cost of 1.6m US dollars (around Rs 8.8 crores) and is capable of going 0-100 kph in less than 3 sec. It is the latest of the Koenigsegg’s Agera-series.
