The spy pictures of the upcoming facelift for the Ford Fiesta sedan which has been emerged on the web countless times doing the trail-runs. Now our good friend Theophilus Chin from theophiluschin.com has come up with a rendering of what the new face might will look like.
From the images, the front of this Ford Fiesta facelift features some major changes including hood, front bumper, headlamps and fog lamps incorporating a new design. However, the biggest change is on the grille design, the new 2013 Ford Fiesta features a trapezoidal front grille which looks Aston Martin-ish.
The side view of the Fiesta has a little or no change, but the rear has been slightly modified from the existing version. It features a small amount of tweaking in the design of the tail lamps. Even the trunk lid appeared to be a bit refreshed as compared to the old model. Some sophisticated changes have also been given to the interiors
Under the freshly shaped hood, the face-lifted Ford Fiesta will come with 1.0 litre of EcoBoost three cylinder engines that would churn out 85 PS of peak power. This is the same engine, which was first displayed in small Ford B-Max MPV.
Rumors on the web suggest 2013 Ford Fiesta is expected to be displayed at the Paris Motor Show in 2012 and is likely to be launched by the end of this year in European market. Hopefully, the face-lifted Fiesta will make it to the Indian car market by 2013.
