Fiat has started testing next generation model of the Fiat Linea sedan and it has been spied in Europe. As was clearly evident from the looks behind the camouflage of the new car, the new Fiat Linea has got a lot of changes in its design and other departments. Recently a facelift model with a small modification aka 2012 Linea was launched in India with the main quality of the car being a higher ground clearance. However the Fiat Linea spied in Europe is expected to be the new generation that the Linea can get in the Indian market in about a year.
The major modifications in the 2012 model of the Fiat Linea spied in Europe are a brand new front portion with freshly designed bumper and grille. The position of the badge is also shifted in the 2012 Linea. The change in looks is not confined only to the front portion. In the back part also the car has got new tail lights and bumper. The numberplate portion has also been mounted above than the predecessor models and here too the badge has been shifted to the centre.
According to our friends at Auto Segredos, the cabin of the Linea facelift could be more luxurious. There might be changes under the bonnet with the inclusion of the 1.4 litre Multi-air engine in the Linea facelift model making the overall package just perfect. New Fiat Linea is expected to launch in late 2012, this model is likely to go on sale in India next year.
