BA readers as we reported you earlier Toyota’s Innova facelift makes its entry at 2011 Indonesian International Motor Show (IIMS) has now been unveiled. Thanks to Paultan who has taken the snaps at IIMS. The face lifted Innova is known as the ‘Kijang Innova’ in the Indonesian market.
At first glance, the new facelifted front end reminds me of the current generation Toyota Camry facelift, thanks to the similar shape of the grille and the lower bumper air intakes. The updates are quite minor at the rear – a redesigned tail lamp cluster with three sections instead of the current two section design and that’s pretty much it.
On the Interiors, the dashboard has been slightly redesigned. The Innova gets a new multimedia display unit and the only other change has been the centre console, which loses the wood finish around the AC vents as seen in the previous generation Innova. There’s also a redesigned steering wheel.
Now, we have some concrete information from our trusted sources that the facelifted Toyota Innova MPV will arrive into India in the middle of 2012 as a mid career product facelift. As we said earlier, 2012 Auto Expo might probably be the occasion where Toyota unveils these facelifts for India.
