South Korean automaker Hyundai is hard at work to keep up with the competition. And as a result, the company has just unveiled its important new Eon city car for the our desi market, the model serves as Hyundai’s smallest model and was designed specifically for India, where it has its rivals directly with the country’s largest-selling car Maruti-Suzuki Alto. According to Hyundai's past performance this car too should be one of maximum quality, high performance and combined with attractive pricing should be quite a crowd puller.  The Eon is bound to offer some stiff competition to both Maruti Alto and Zen Estilo in the small car category. Designed by Hyundai’s Namyang R&D department in South Korea, the Eon is just slightly more compact than the i10 hatchback.
