Volkswagen Vento to get a 1.4l sibling soon

Volkswagen-Vento

As we reported earlier Team-Bhpian, Mr Amar Paithankar has spotted three Volkswagen group of test cars in Lavasa near pune. It was a triple surprise for car enthusiasts who noticed not one, but three Volkswagen cars namely 2011 Jetta, a smaller engined Skoda Yeti and the most interesting of all, the Volkswagen Vento with a 1.4 Liter TSI Turbo Petrol engine. Now, that is a real find as a turbo petrol engine in the Vento could be a good option to boost Vento petrol sales which thus far has been eclipsed by the diesel variant which has been outselling the Vento many times over.

The one car to draw most interest was Volkswagen Vento.  This car with a 1.4 liter TSI turbo petrol engine is expected to enhance and improve sales of the petrol variant. This variant has till now been overshadowed by its diesel option which has recorded increased sales due to rising petrol prices.

Vento 1.4 TSI is considered to be good for Indian consumption and very profitable for the company. Volkswagen regards turbo petrol engines as being highly fuel efficient, low on emissions and well organized engine output.

Volkswagen are  testing this turbo engine for some other cars in the offing as well, as it is predicted at racing the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just under 10 seconds. Thus, this diminutive engine with gigantic power is expected to make a grand entry in the near future.
