Virat Kohli introduces ‘TVS Sport Bharat Mileage Challenge’


Swashbuckling Indian Cricket Vice-Captain and brand ambassador of TVS Sport, Virat Kohli, recently launched an innovative, first-of-its-kind initiative, “TVS Sport Bharat Mileage Challenge” in Lucknow. Virat, also became the first person to record his mileage as part of the TVS Sport Bharat Mileage Challenge, an event which will be held across the country.

Explaining the concept, U B Pandey, General Manager – Sales, TVS Motor Company said, “TVS Sport Bharat Mileage Challenge will be held across the country in select cities of four zones i.e. North, South, East and West over the next six months. Customers will be invited to ride their own motorcycles and record the mileage and subsequently ride a TVS Sport motorcycle and compare its mileage against that of their own motorcycle.The results of the mileage challenge in each city can be viewed on the TVS Sport website .”

The increased mileage of TVS Sport can be attributed to TVS Sport’s DuraLife Engine which gives the benefit of reduced friction and provides less stress on the engine, leading to more efficient fuel consumption. Chrome Plated Piston rings, Roller Cam follower and Low friction engine oil (TRU4 Premium) in the DuraLife Engine leads to less friction. Refined ignition timing and the overall low dry mass (99 kg) combine seamlessly to provide the improved mileage.
