TVS Apache RR 310 waiting period extends up to 4-Months

TVS surprised one and all earlier this year with the launch of the Apache RR 310. This bike is at present the company’s first flagship motorcycle and has received good reviews from bike enthusiasts in India. The Apache RR 310 came at a time when everyone were waiting for the BMW G310 GS with the majority of them expecting the latter being launched first.

Waiting period extended’s upto 4 months.

This has led to good demand for the Apache RR 310 and TVS is going all out in manufacturing them as quickly as possible. Now, as per reports, the Apache RR 310 will have its waiting period extended up to 4 months. While dealerships across the country has varying waiting period, those in North India have them close to 4 months, as per reported.

Coming to the specs, the Apache RR 310 employs a 312cc single cylinder engine. This engine is capable of producing 34 BHP of power and 27.3 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with TVS claiming that it can achieve a top speed of 160 KMPH.

Price hiked by upto Rs. 8,000.

TVS recently upped the price of the Apache RR 310 marginally. The Apache RR 310 at present cost Rs. 2.13 lakhs (ex-showroom price, Delhi), with a hike of around Rs. 8,000. Its rivals include the KTM RC 390 and yet to be launched BMW G310 GS.

At the moment, TVS is really working hard on upping the production capacity of the motorcycle at its Hosur plant in Tamil Nadu. The bike is on-sale in two colours – Racing Red and Racing Black. Let us all hope that TVS can fulfill demand of it Apache RR 310 as quickly as possible.
