The Apache has been a phenomenal success for Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS and like all growing companies, TVS too wanted to make it’s presence felt internationally and hence had started selling the Apache in Indonesia under the brand name of ‘TVS Motor Company Indonesia’. Indonesia is a huge market for two-wheelers and one can find all consumers for all sorts of motorcycles in the Indonesian market, and the fact that the Apache made a mark on such a market shows that the Indonesian customers have taken a liking to the Apache. After selling the Apache there successfully for a few years, TVS Motor Company Indonesia has gone a step ahead, and has now launched a new special edition of the Apache.
TVS Apache 180 ‘Xventure’ edition
The new special edition has been named as the Apache Xventure, and the only major change is the inclusion of the new graphics scheme on the motorcycle, with the the introduction of sharp graphics and new bright colors. The sculpted fuel tank now gets a huge X shaped graphics logo, depicting ‘Xventure’ and the sharp flow of the same X continues all across the body panels.
The mechanical bits of the motorcycle however remain the same and it is still powered by the same 174.4cc, air-cooled single cylinder engine, and has a max power output of 17.03 BHP and a maximum torque of 15.5 NM.
The TVS Apache Xventure was launched at a price of 18.47 million Indonesian Rupiah (INR 91,412), along with various finance schemes in order to facilitate ownership of the motorcycle.
