Tata Super Ace Mint launched in India, from Rs. 5.09 lakhs

Already one of the best-selling Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) in India, Tata Motors has introduced the improved Super Ace for 2015 called ‘Super Ace Mint’ with its unmatchable combination of performance, ruggedness, comfort, superior ride & handling, style and best-in-class cost of ownership.

Launched at a starting price of Rs. 5.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Thane), the Super Ace Mint gets body-coloured bumper and standard fitment of wheel caps for a stylish look. On the inside, it features power steering, adjustable driver and passenger fabric seats with headrests, and blower offered as standard. An HVAC system is available as an option.

As far as safety is concerned, the Super Ace Mint 3-point retractable seat belts as well as side impact beams for protection in case of collisions. The Super Ace Mint has independent suspension and 14-inch wheels shod with radial tyres. It is available in four exciting colours – Blazing Red, Castle Grey, Arctic White and Meteor Silver.

Powering the Super Ace Mint is the 1.4-litre DiCOR common-rail, 4-cylinder common rail diesel engine which produces 69 bhp and delivers max torque over 1800-3000 rpm. The engine is compliant with BS4 emission norms. Tata says that the LCV can attain a top speed of 125 kph and return a fuel consumption figure of 17.9 kmpl. Stopping power comes from 254 mm front disc brakes and drum brakes at the rear.

The Super Ace Mint also comes with an assured warranty of one year or 50,000 Km (whichever is earlier).
