The Tata Ace Mega XL was displayed at the recently held Auto Expo. The Ace Mega XL with its extended load-carrying capability further expands the popular Tata Ace range.
Compared to the 2,140 mm load-body length of the Ace Mega, the Ace Mega XL’s load-body is 2,500 mm, which is lengthier by 360 mm. However, the width and the payload remains the same as the former.
The Tata Ace Zip XL is powered by a 2-cylinder 800 cc DiCOR diesel engine developing out 40.2 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 100 Nm of torque @ 1,500-2,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Top speed of 80 KMPH ensures more trips to its customers due to the low turnaround time and class leading loading deck length.
Additionally, the strong and rugged front and rear leaf-spring suspensions and axles makes the LCV the perfect vehicle for varied load and road conditions. Tata says that the Ace Mega XL delivers best-in-class combination of power, speed, and fuel efficiency.
