Suzuki being one of the major manufacturers and sellers of scooters in the Indian market is planning to launch its face lifted Swish most likely in this month in order to overcome the minute sales obtained from the current-gen Swish already available in the Indian market when compared to the other scooters from Suzuki such as Access which has obtained decent sales over the years since its launch.

With tight competition from other manufacturers such Honda Activa 125 and the upcoming Hero Dash, Suzuki will launch the entry level 125 cc scooter making it one of the three models being launched in 2015 as reported by us in our earlier posts couple of months ago at BharathAutos. The face lifted Swish is expected to feature alloy wheels, new digital instrument console, tubeless tyres and front disc brakes in addition to the features already available in the current-gen Swish.
Coming to the technical specifications, the face lifted Swish will share its power trains with the company’s flagship product Access in turn being powered with the same 125cc air cooled engine coupled to CVT transmission producing a maximum power of 8.7 PS at a maximum torque of 9.8 NM. We expect the face lifted Swish to be priced higher than the current-gen Swish but definitely lesser than the recently launched Honda’s Activa 125.
Stay tuned at BharathAutos for more information.
