Following the death of Apple CEO Steve Jobs, fans have continued to make their way to his home in Palo Alto, California to pay their respects. Apparently, the Job’s silver Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG still sits outside the house without a license plate.
According to The Los Angeles Times, fans of Apple from around the world still come the house to celebrate the life of Jobs:
“I wanted to see where the great man lived,” said Anna Bonaccorso, a 63-year-old from Brooklyn, N.Y.
It’s widely known that Jobs found a loophole in California law to legally drive without license plates. Apparently, in California, an owner of a vehicle is exempt from displaying tags during the first six months of ownership. Jobs would simply trade in his silver SL55 AMG before the deadline.
