Spy Shots – Tata Magic facelift uncovered ahead of debut

As already read by our dear readers in our previous posts couple of days ago, Tata recently introduced the power steering feature to its Nano and is now all-set to showcase its facelifted Aria at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo in the month of February after which it would be launched in the Indian market later in April this-year.

With already facelifted Aria in pipeline for launch, Tata’s facelifted Magic was recently spotted in Maharashtra without being camouflaged by one of the readers of IndianAutosBlog. The upcoming facelifted Magic is expected to be built on Tata Ace platform and would also feature single frame grille instead of twin-slat grille, rectangular shaped headlights, body colored bumpers, new fabric for seats, new steering wheel and music system along with additional mobile charging point.

Coming to the technical specifications, the facelifted Magic is expected to be powered with a 702 cc diesel engine coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission producing a maximum power of 16 hp at a maximum torque of 38 Nm. It would also be available in the CNG variant which produces a maximum power of 21 hp at a maximum torque of 49 Nm.
