Already official sketches of the upcoming Nissan Terrano were already being posted couple of weeks ago at BharathAutos. Initially the sketches revealed the front view of the car, later one more official sketch revealed the rear end styling of the car. Thanks to the images obtained by one of the readers of Indian Autos Blog, Mr. Gokulraj Kanagaraj who is also the founder of MyCopie which confirms Nissan Terrano being spotted testing again on NH45 which leads from Chennai city to the Renault Nissan factory.
From the official sketch revealed a couple of weeks back, At the rear, Nissan Terrano looked almost similar to the Renault Duster with slight modifications such as repositioned license plate housing, Nissan Bagding, wider tail lamps and restyled rear bumpers which is also seen in the recently spotted test mule. Apart from this, Nissan Terrano also featured restyled front bumpers, headlights and changes to the sheet metal although it couldn’t be seen due to the front part of test mule being completely camouflaged.
After having a glimpse of the recent Spy shots, it seems as if Nissan has rolled out at least two test mules on the roads of Chennai since two test mules spotted had two different temporary test number plates. After seeing the first spy shot, Nissan Terrano’s interiors was believed to just have Nissan badging over the Dusters interiors. But after seeing one of the latest Spy shot, the interiors of Nissan Terrano is expected to feature chrome detailed rectangular AC vents along with new instrument console which is different when compared to the circular AC vents of Renault Duster. Hence Nissan Terrano is expected to have more premium interiors than the Renault Duster along with more features and longer warranty period.
