Recently Honda has released the firstever image of the Honda Brio sedan, now the car has been spotted testing in Thailand. The reason why this sedan is getting so popular is because this new Honda car is going to change the face of Honda cars in India. The Brio sedan which will be a compact sedan will battle against likes of the Maruti Swift Dzire and Tata Indigo eCS in Indian car market.
The car spotted here is heavily camouflaged and only rear portion is seen. Although this picture does not reveal much in terms of anything new but does give us a clear hint of the body dimensions. The picture of the Brio sedan’s front fascia is yet to be revealed, hence the changes incorporated in the new sedans face is unknown at the moment.
Honda calls the Brio sedan as the ‘sedan of your dreams’. This ‘dream’ word suggests a lot as the Honda diesel engine that is going to sport under the hood of this new car will be derived from Honda Earth Dreams technology. The diesel engine is expected to carry the DNA of the 1.8-litre ‘Earth Dreams’ diesel engine sold in UK. However, it will only be below 1.5-litre, to avail the excise duty benefit.
