 2014 Hyundai i10

AutoCarIndia has managed to snap the firstever spy pictures of the next-generation Hyundai i10 (codenamed BA) in Indian soil. The company recently started testing next-generation i10 in Europe and a week after the same has been brought to India. Hyundai is all set to unveil this 2014 Hyundai i10 at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and is expected to be launched in India by the end-2013.

From the images, it is evident that the next-generation i10 too follows Hyundai’s ‘Fluidic’ design theme and is much bigger, longer and wider compared to the current model. Other changes include the swept-back headlights, the low, elongated chin and the rising shoulder line. Top-end variants could also get alloy wheels and rear parking sensors as well as fog lamps as standard equipment. On the inside, the upcoming i10 is expected to get more space, comfort and features along with a new dashboard design.

However, the major change on the 2014 Hyundai i10 will be under the hood with all-new 1.0-litre Kappa petrol engine which will be more fuel efficient than the current 1.1-litre Epsilon motor. Along with the diesel option, which could be the same one found on the European i20. The 1.1-litre 3-cylinder diesel engine, which should be the most welcomed aspect of the new i10 and could, put the sales on fire.
