2013 Tata Aria facelift - FrontView

When it comes to luxury cars price is not the factor considered and if that’s an SUV all that matters is performance at the best of luxury. Well Tata Motor did realize the need of a luxury crossover and launched the Tata Aria in 2010 Auto Expo. The Aria is loaded with all the best possible technical and safety features in the segment to beat the competition and became the first cross over to have 4X4 capabilities. All this did give a Tata Aria a bit of recognition at the initial stage, but soon there was a down fall in terms of sales. All said and done nothing seems to be going right so far and the Aria stills lags in the sales number. Tata Motors even launched a stripped version Aria Pure LX and offered a lucrative price band of Rs 9,95,000 Ex-Showroom Price Delhi but even that failed to impress the buyers.

Tata Motors has still not lost hope on the Aria and would like to take all possible measures to bring the Aria back before it becomes history. As from the spied photos of the 2013 Aria we can see some cosmetic changes in the front like smoked headlamps and double barrel projector headlamps. The rear also has an upgrade in terms of tail lamp cluster with clear glasses for side and reverse indicators. Also there is chrome lining around the cluster.

So far there is not much heard about mechanical or technical changes in the New Aria, although the Tata Aria showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo with an Automatic transmission that will be available in the 4X4 top end version as well as the 4X2 lower end variants. Certainly Tata Motors will strive hard to bring back the feature packed, comfortable and luxurious Tata Aria to best of its form.
