Although there is no news about Chevrolet’s new compact MPV in India, but pictures clearly indicate the testing of Chevrolet’s new compact MPV caught in Europe. If we consider this MPV is invading Indian market then its main rivals be Mahindra Xylo and the Toyota Innova .
There is prediction that Chevrolet might use the 2.0 litre TCDi diesel engine with 125.5 PS or maximum power and 305 Nm of torque. Sounds good for a seven seat MPV, then. We don’t see a petrol version being viable for India in today’s scenario and hence let’s just concentrate on the diesel.
Toyota is also upgrading its Innova and will be launching the new facelift version. For now we can only hope to hear confirmed news of Chevrolet’s MPV launch in India.
