After the recent launch of the face lifted version of Nissan Micra in Thailand which is far better than the existing one available in India, This face lifted version was caught on test in the roads of Pune by Motor Bash which according to some reports online wouldn’t have been available in India. Nissan is currently working on the price cut version of Nissan Micra along with which face lifted version is also expected soon in the Indian market.
Coming to the changes the face lifted Micra would have new headlamps inspired by the Nissan Extreme concept which was displayed in the Sao Paulo auto show in October 2012, new honeycomb front grills along with hidden ‘V’ chrome lines, black bumpers, body color door handles & rear view mirrors, new front bumpers and slight modifications to the rear of the car. Nissan is taking this step in order to have decent sales of Micra in the Indian market which it is currently lagging. The new Micra would be powered with the same 1.2 liter 3 cylinder petrol along with 1.5 liter K9K diesel engines.
