Skoda is Volkswagen’s subsidiary and the whole world knows that. Earlier what most folks don’t know is that the Skoda Laura and Superb share plenty of components with Volkswagen cars ranging from DSG gearboxes to Volkswagen TSI engines. After the launch of Skoda Rapid sedan many folks became aware it borrows lot of design cues from its German cousin, the VW Vento.
Now the images have been rendered by Theophilus Chin, it could be interesting to see if Skoda introduces Rapid hatchback in the Indian market. To amidst the growing competition in the B-segment, now where the Maruti Swift and Hyundai i20 are the main players.
