Skoda Kodiaq – production SUV’s interior revealed

These are the first official images of the production Skoda Kodiaq’s interior, plus a batch of detailed shots. The full-fledged SUV, a boldly-styled rival to the Honda CR-V Ford Endeavour, and new Toyota Fortuner will make its worldwide premiere today in Berlin.

The Kodiaq’s cabin gets a simple dashboard layout that looks similar to the Volkswagen Group’s interior design philosophy. First Skoda being offered with seven-seater configuration gets a 50:50 split 3rd-row seats, which can be folded into the boot floor to accommodate more luggage. Further, the 2nd-row seat can be split 40:20:40 and occupants in this row will also get dedicated floor-mounted AC vents.

The all-black interior features a blue strip on the door panels and chrome trim on various elements to avoid looking bland. An 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system comes equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and SmartLink connectivity options. In addition, it will come with satellite navigation and voice-assist options.
