The second-gen Brio is expected to make its world debut in Indonesia in August-2018.

The upcoming Brio is expected to be wider than the current model on sale here. It will be underpinned by a whole new platform seen on the second-gen Honda Amaze. Honda recently revealed the Small RS Concept  which essentially is a concept version of the second-gen Brio.

The second-gen Brio will have features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto climate control, keyless entry and so-on. The cabin will feature bolstered seats and the all-glass boot lid will make way for a more conventional one  On space, we can expect the second-gen Brio to be more spacious, with Honda increasing the wheelbase of the car.

The second-gen Brio’s equipment list and cabin is likely to be similar to the recently launched Honda Amaze.

The Brio will be offered in a petrol engine only. It will be the existing 1.2-litre one producing 90 BHP of power and 110 Nm of torque. We can expect to see a 5-speed CVT transmission in the car coming mated to the engine.

Prices are expected to start from Rs. 4 lakh and go all the way to Rs. 8 lakh. The new Brio will rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Tata Tiago and the yet to be launched Hyundai Santro. With the new Brio, we can see the car to perform better than its predecessor once it gets launched.
