Korean automaker Hyundai has recently given a fresh look to almost all its models. The highest selling Hyundai i10 from Hyundai’s stable got new refreshing look and stunning new Hyundai Verna Fluidic is also one of the latest facelifts from the company. However one car was overlooked, Hyundai i20 went on sale in December 2008 and since then got no real facelift.
In past sometime, Hyundai i20 has been doing good sales for Hyundai India in premium hatchback segment and it has not been face-lifted for a long time now. The facelift introduces last year in 2010 was a significant but not major one.
Recently the upcoming facelifted 2012 Hyundai i20 has been spotted testing in Europe. New Hyundai i20 will feature a Hyundai Fluidic design Sculpture along with revised tail lights and new alloy wheels. The interiors will also get slight revision to get it in line with latest standards.
The new version of the car will make its debut in India at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. However engines will remain untouched with the same 1.2L, 1.4L petrol and 1.4L diesel continuing in the facelift version.
