Ah, a birthday celebration, and nothing like a special-edition to mark the occasion. The 2nd birthday of Renault Kwid has brought about a celebratory model called the Renault Kwid 2nd Anniversary Edition.
In order to gain additional market share and sales at the upcoming festive season in India, the French automaker needed to spruce-up the Kwid and the result was this Anniversary Edition. Like any other special-edition, this micro hatchback too offers extra goodies and exclusive visual elements with attractive pricing.
The Kwid 2nd Anniversary Edition can be differentiated from regular model by means of an Anniversary-theme designer graphics on the doors with “02” insignia, graphics on the C-pillar, bonnet and roof, ORVM housing in two-tone finish, coloured wheels and skid plates at the front and rear.
Inside, the special-edition model gets a Sportline seat upholstery with “02” insignia, dark ivory trim around side air vents, a two-tone gear knob, floor mats and steering wheel with “02” insignia and piano black center fascia with dark ivory highlights.
All these features will be offered at a premium of Rs. 15,000/-, over the standard RXL or RXT variants. The Kwid 2nd Anniversary Edition will be sold in both 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre configurations, and will be available in 2 paint schemes – Fiery Red and Ice Cool White, with no changes to the engine options. There’s no AMT in the special-edition model.

- RXL 0.8L MT – Rs. 3.43 lakh
- RXT 0.8L MT – Rs. 3.76 lakh
- RXL 1.0L MT – Rs. 3.64 lakh
- RXT 1.0L MT – Rs. 3.98 lakh
