The French carmaker, Renault India has increased prices of its Pulse hatchback by around 2percent, effective from 8 March, 2012. During its launch, company had mentioned that the price of its RxL variant (Rs.5.77 lakh) will be an introductory, later there could be a decent price hike. The increased input costs have forced the company to change the price tags of both the Pulse trim levels, the RxL (base variant) & RxZ (top-end variant) by Rs.10, 000 & Rs.12, 000 respectively.
Remarking over the price rise decision, the Managing Director of Renault India, Marc NASSIF has said that the company has received the huge response and numbers of enquiries from the potential customers for its newly launched Pulse.
The Renault Pulse has been designed to cater the needs of young customers with good money value that affairs with plenty of functional features. In order to maintain a balance with the increasing input costs, company has decided to raise the Pulse price by 2 percent. But, the remarkable combination of features and price still makes it challenging competitor in the segment.
The stylish design, sophisticated technology and affordable price make the Renault Pulse ideal vehicle for the Indian market. It hearts the advanced K9K engine offering outstanding performance and fuel economy. In India, the Renault Pulse comes equipped with a 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine producing a maximum power of 64PS.
