Hyundai has revealed the first pictures of the soon-to-be launched facelifted version of the i20 hatchback which will go on sale in India soon. This is definitely what the i20 range needs to fend off competition from the newer entrants in the market like the Swift.
From the images, the refreshed i20 gets a new Hyundai family look with re-styled headlamps, front bumper, grille, fog lamps and hood which look much better and give the car fresh appeal. The re-skinned i20 will first make its global debut at next week’s Geneva Motor Show and launch in India by April.
The new i20 now looks a lot like the international i30 hatch. Changes at the rear, are a tweak to the back bumper with a bit of re-profiling and integrated reflectors, new tail lights and some new alloy designs. There aren’t many details on what they’ve done to the interior, but rest assured, it will come packed with the latest features.
