The below you see is the new Honda Accord stunning isn’t it? According to reports, the new Accord will make its official debut at the 2016 Auto Expo and will be launched later next-year.
In India, the company discontinued the Accord model due to poor sales in 2013. At the time, the customer opted either for a diesel or hybrid vehicle, but Accord was soley available in petrol guise. Further the D2 sedan luxury segment was shrinking at that moment.
Crisply styled and aerodynamically efficient, the ninth-gen Accord features sculpted aluminium hood, automatic LED headlights, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail lamps, optional 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, an 7-inch touchscreen Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support with Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity, ABS, EBD and airbags.
Initially, the new Accord will be imported to India as Completely-Built-Unit (CBUs), thus, the new model will be priced bit expensive than its direct rival – the Toyota Camry. However, the hybrid variant will benefit from the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric vehicles (FAME) – Indian Government scheme and will be priced slightly higher than the standard car.
