The yet-to-be-unveiled Toyota Innova has been spotted again, but this-time in Indonesia wearing an unique green camouflage livery. This interesting camouflage has managed to grab the attention of public in the streets of Indonesia.
The second-generation Innova will make its global premiere in the 3rd quarter of 2015 at Thailand. It will based on the new ladder-frame chassis, therefore seems to be lengthy than the current one. Looking at the spyshots and leaked images, we can assume that the side profile of the 2016 Innova is similar to the existing model, but the rear windows sport an interesting kick-back D-pillar.
The front-fascia will divide opinion – a huge front grille contains two chrome bars that intrude into slim headlamps (appear to be projector units). New range of powerhouses is expected to make-way on the new model with significantly better fuel efficiency than current engines, paired to manual and automatic transmissions.
The new Innova will hit Indian shores by mid-2016 and will be priced Rs 1-1.5 lakh more than the current model, for the first year and will be limited to private buyers only. It will be manufactured at Bidadi plant in Karnataka, when launched will compete with Chevrolet Enjoy, Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga, Nissan Evalia and Renault Lodgy.
