Mohanlal’s brand new Mercedes-Benz GL-Class
Mollywood superstar Mohanlal, who is not a great an automobile enthusiast as Mammootty, has bought the latest version of a Mercedes GL-Class popularly known as GL 350. The new GL-Class off-roader was delivered to his house in Kochi. On the same day earlier this-week, he wrapped-off the shoot of Arun Vaidyanathan’s Peruchazhi in Kochi, and headed to Brazil to watch the FIFA World Cup semi-finals.
Nithya Menen and Anoop Menon are other Malayalam actors to own the GL-Class. This off-roader costs Rs. 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom Kochi) and we are sure he might have obtained a fancy number for it as well. Apart from new GL-Class, Mohanlal also owns a Mercedes-Benz S350, a Mitsubishi Pajero and couple of Innova’s.
Refresher – Mercedes-Benz GL-Class will sport a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that is mated to a 7G-TRONIC Plus automatic transmission. The motor develops 258hp and a massive torque of 619 Nm. This translates to a 0-100kph time of 8.9 seconds. Top speed is over 200 Kph. The power is delivered to all four wheels with the help of Mercedes-Benz 4matic all-wheel drive system. The suspension can be raised too.
