Mercedes-Benz India has launched the C250d, which is now top-of-the-line C-Class variant. It is also the fastest and the most powerful car in its segment. The new C250d comes equipped with a revolutionary 9G-TRONIC transmission that is first time featured on the C-Class product range.
The new C250d is a blend of sophisticated luxury and sportiness. This luxury sedan sports class-leading driving performance, state-of-the-art technology and outstanding build quality. The C 250 d is the right car for those ardent car enthusiasts who appreciate performance without compromising on luxurious appointments.
The new C250d’s 4-cylinder diesel engine is the most powerful and fastest in the segment. The engine features an ECO start/stop function which drives efficiency. The engine produces 204 HP of power at 3800 rpm with a maximum torque of 500 Nm between 1600-1800 rpm, which is the highest in the segment. It sprints from 0-100 km/hr in 6.6 seconds and has top speed of 247 km/hr.
As far as safety is concerned, the C250d comes loaded with an ABS, EBD, ASR, BAS, ESP, Hill Start Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST and PRE-SAFE. The C-Class is the highest selling model from Mercedes -Benz’s line-up in India and it competes with the likes of the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, Jaguar XE and Volvo S60.
In India, Mercedes C250d is priced at Rs. 44.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) and it is imported to India via the CKD route.
