Maruti Suzuki has launched the Swift Deca Limited Edition as a tribute to the legendary ‘Number 10’ status in football. Said hatch is based on the mid-range ‘V’ trims and is presented exclusively as a cosmetic exercise with no mechanical changes whatsoever.
In exterior, the Swift Deca sports a football themed body graphics, blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels, body kit comprising side skirts and sporty spoiler, and ORVMs are painted in a contrasting colour. Inside gets Red-and-Black themed upholstery, steering wheel too gets a similar treatment, door sill guard with special ambient lighting, front arm rest, floor mats, and also gets faux carbon fibre highlights.
Other features include a new Sony multimedia touch-screen audio system with Bluetooth and external mic, which is connected to Sony 6″ speakers placed on the doors. This unit also has a reverse parking camera system attached to it. The Swift Deca special edition benefit of around Rs. 18,000/- on the accessory kit to the customer.
The Swift Deca is available only in 2 shades – Bright Red and Pearl White. As mentioned, the limited edition hatch soldiers on with the same mechanicals – a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol and a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
