A few weeks ago, spy-shots of a small Maruti Suzuki car appeared on the internet, and though it was heavily camouflaged and did not reveal much, it was rumored to be the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10. Now, more spy-shots have been obtained, and this time, without even a bit of camouflage on it.

The new spy-shots show that the Alto K10 has taken inspiration from the Alto 800. It now has a tall body, and has the signature swept-back and up headlamps, the design of the grille and front bumper too have been heavily influenced by that of the Alto 800. The rear portion too has been influenced by the Alto 800, and the tail-lamps look identical to those on the Alto 800.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 facelift spied – RearView
It is expected to be powered by the same 998cc, 3-cylinder,petrol engine that powers the current gen Alto K10. It has a maximum power output of 68 PS and a Maximum torque figure of 90 NM, and in current guise is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and the same gearbox is expected to do duty in the face-lifted model too. There are rumors of an AMT gearbox being offered as an option as well.
